A Dog for Charlie
A documentary movie which chronicles three years in the life of Charlie, a non-verbal, autistic child, and his service dog. The film documents the ways in which this young boy grows and changes over time, how his autism is affect by intervention strategies and therapy, and how a specially trained service dog impacts his life and the lives of his parents.
Produced and directed by Barbara Cray, the film is being produced by “A Dog for Charlie” non-profit corporation, which is a tax exempt public charity registered as a 501(c)(3) corporation with the IRS.
